Celtic Throwdown website launches ahead of Capcom Pro Tour event

The Celtic Throwdown website has gone live, allowing those interested in competing or volunteering to be a part of the upcoming event to sign up.

Celtic Throwdown will be held in the Ashling Hotel in Dublin on September 3-4. Street Fighter V is the main competitive game with Capcom Pro Tour ranking points up for grabs, but Mortal Kombat XL, the Smash Bros franchise, Ultra Street Fighter IV, and Super Street Fighter II Turbo will also be played over the course of the weekend.

Before the main event, there are a number of events taking place across Ireland, which will help players secure a seed for Celtic Throwdown. The Road to Celtic Throwdown Circuit is made up of five events in June, July, and August. With national and international talent expected at Celtic Throwdown, this is a good chance to ensure that you avoid some of Street Fighter’s most notable competitors.
