New Galaxy Note will scan your eyes
A leaked screenshot, which was supposedly taken using beta software made available through the Samsung Galaxy Beta Program, displays a pop-up that asks for a fingerprint. However, there’s an option that allows users to select “use iris” as well.
Samsung is certainly capable of iris scanning and has trademarked “Samsung Iris” and “Samsung Eyeprint.” But its technology is currently only available in the government- and enterprise-exclusive Samsung Galaxy Tab Iris in India. Could it also be coming to the consumer market?
Aside from iris scanning technology, the Galaxy Note is rumoured to feature a Snapdragon 823 processor, 6GB RAM, and a massive 4,200mAh battery.
