These beautiful charcoal paintings by Pierce Ward Jones demonstrate that dyslexia can help some people to see things that others can't.

Piece who is 21-years-old, and from Sallins in Co. Kildare, thought himself to draw.

"(Being) dyslexic helps me with my art as I see things differently. I see shapes in people and, by a person's eyes, you can tell a story."

Pierce has an IQ of 143 and credits his mother Frances for getting him into art.

By the look of these fantastic creations, Pierce has a big future ahead of him.
