Suicide Squad rated PG-13 - to the surprise of no one

Suicide Squad may have undergone some late in the game reshoots but they haven't changed the overall tone of the film, it has just been rated PG-13 by the MPAA.

In the wake of Deadpool there were a few rumours that the film was going to be pushing for an R-rating but honestly that was never going to happen - it was already in the can long before Mr. Pool had his way with the box office and it's a stablemate of Batman v Superman and the overall DC cinematic universe.

These are films with massive budgets which have to appeal to as wide an audience as possible, so it was always going to be rated this way.
