A gorgeous Frenchman and his chicken Monique are causing a stir online

They say there is no bond like a man and his dog but they obviously hadn’t met this man and his chicken.

These two have been through a lot together. Over the past two years French Sailor Guirec Soudee and his chicken Monique have sailed across the Caribbean and onto Greenland where they lived for some time.

The two share a lot of things together.

They know each other pretty well at this stage.

And they have made a lot of friends.

And even more friends online with over 50,000 people following their adventures on Facebook.

We can’t seem to figure out what all the fuss is about...
