Zootopia tops 1 billion worldwide
That's a massive amount of cash, and puts the Disney produced film in the rare company of the likes of Alice in Wonderland, Jurassic Park and The Dark Knight.
It's even more impressive for an animated feature, with only Toy Story 3, Minions and Frozen also managing to breach that high box office mark. And it's also the biggest original animation ever, considering those other are all based on previous stories or properties.

In other box office news, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 had a decent opening and X-Men Apocalypse continued to decline. Me Before You had a surprisingly large turn out and people had no interest in seeing Andy Samberg's Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping despite great reviews.
