Zootopia tops 1 billion worldwide

Zootopia was certainly a fun animated release and it's one that has really gone the distance, recently topping the 1 billion mark worldwide.

That's a massive amount of cash, and puts the Disney produced film in the rare company of the likes of Alice in Wonderland, Jurassic Park and The Dark Knight.

It's even more impressive for an animated feature, with only Toy Story 3, Minions and Frozen also managing to breach that high box office mark. And it's also the biggest original animation ever, considering those other are all based on previous stories or properties.
