A lake near Athlone currently has the ‘largest inflatable water slide in world’ in it

With the weather looking absolutely smashing for the upcoming Bank Holiday, it looks like the Baysports Hodson Bay maybe the place to go.

This is because if you visit the water sport centre this weekend you will be treated to what they claim is the world’s largest inflatable water slide.

The centre is hoping to get the slide into the record books as adjudicators from the Guinness Book of World Records are due to check it out on June 18.
