Dublin Airport first in the world to offer Street View of airfield

Dublin Airport has become the first in the world to allow Google Maps users to explore its airfield via Street View.

This will give people an unprecedented level of access to the airfield. The captured images are also to be used by the Airside Safety Training department in training and education.

In a statement, Dublin Airport Managing Director Vincent Harrison said, "Airfields are exciting and fascinating places for many people so we are delighted to be the first airport in the world to give free, easy to access virtual tours of our airfield and runway areas.”
