VIDEO Behind the scenes of Irish shot Love and Friendship
It was shot in Ireland in 2015 at locations including Newbridge House in Co. Dublin and you can see some of those locations in this new behind the scenes video. It includes interviews with Kate Beckinale and writer/director Whit Stillman, who collaborated on a new adaptation of Jane Austen novel Lady Susan.
The early 18th century Georgian estate looks amazing on film and was home to the Cobbe family from 1736 until 1985 when it became the property of Fingal County Council. It it located near Donabate in Co. Dublin and is open for tours.
The novel Lady Susan is about a recently widowed woman (Beckinsale) who schemes to find a new husband for herself and her daughter. It also stars Chloë Sevigny, Stephen Fry and Xaviar Samuel.
Love & Friendship is in cinemas on the 27th of May, 2016.
