We're going to be getting a whole mess of them over the next few years, including 101 Dalmatians, Peter Pan (again!) and Pinocchio. But one that's even closer is a new take on the peerless Beauty and the Beast.
It's a bit of a strange choice given that the original is still relatively recent (especially compared to the rest of the list) and also due to the fact that the 1991 feature is practically perfect in every way, becoming the first animated film to be nominated for Best Film at the Academy Awards.
Still Disney is going to give it a go and they've got some talent on board, including bringing back Alan Menken for the score and Tim Rice as well. Most of the original songs are set to feature, including some new additions - which is always a bit confusing.
In the cast, Emma Watson is Belle with Brit Dan Stevens as Beast - he's a great fit for the role. Welsh lad Luke Evans is Gaston, Frozen's Josh Gad is Gaston's sidekick LeFou, Emma Thompson voices Mrs Potts, Ewan McGregor is on for Lumiere, Ian McKellen for Cogsworth, Kevin Kline for Maurice and Stanley Tucci is a new character called Cadenza.
So there's nothing wrong with the cast on paper, and there are a few singers in the group - though we can't recall Watson carrying a tune in public.
Here's the first trailer tease, with the main video up at some point today.
With the same music and, presumably, the same story, it's going to be hard to convince audiences that this is worth another go round. We're looking forward to being dazzled.
