Motorola looks set to bring back the flip phone

Motorola is teasing a new handset that will take us back to a simpler time when flip phones were all the rage.

The teaser video posted to YouTube says, “Flip back to the Razr days of yesteryear and get ready for the future.” The video is packed full of stereotypical teens from the early 2000s, each of whom is armed with a Razr flip phone.

The new Motorola handset will be announced on June 9, according to the video. This is the date of Lenovo’s Tech World conference, so it would make sense for Motorola to announce what it has planned.
