Six One news features a man eating a 99 in the middle of the road

It’s icecream season and while it is not making headlines, one fella is doing his bit to remind people by eating an 99 on national television -in the middle of a Six One news broadcast.

All anyone could think about while RTE broadcaster Emma O’Kelly delivered her news segment was the man behind her, standing in the middle of the road, happily licked his icecream.

Apparently he was selling newspapers while enjoying an evening snack.
