Firstly, the place looks absolutely gorgeous, and there's a pleasant focus on things that aren't too dark and violent. At least for the first half of the video, as you'll see.

They definitely need a Witcher, and it looks like there'll be plenty of things for Geralt to do beyond spending time with wine and wenches. We don't know much about the story yet but there will be at least 30 hours of gameplay so there's plenty to enjoy.

One of the best parts about The Witcher 3 is undoubtedly the score by Marcin Przybylowicz, and he's back for the DLC. Amazingly Blood and Wine won't include any tunes from the original game, with an entirely unique score. That's just one element which makes this basically a new game, and potentially one of the best of the year.

Here's the main theme from Blood and Wine. You might get chills.

Really the only bad news here is that Blood and Wine is set to be the last piece of new content for The Witcher 3, ending our time with one of the greatest games of the last few years. And it might be a long time before we hear from Geralt of Rivia again, as developers CD Project RED move onto new offering Cyberpunk 2077.

Still, all the more reason to enjoy Blood and Wine, which is out on the 31st of May, 2016.
