The fair will host a number of exhibitors from local and national service providers, a programme of workshops in mindfulness, yoga, laughter yoga, zumba and music, and a range of talks from mental health experts and advocates.

This event is open to the public and admission is free.

2. Classic Cars

It’s time to dust off your vintage car as the Ballincollig and District Vintage and Classic Car Club’s Gougane Barra Run and Memorial Service will take place tomorrow.

Starting at Applegreen Service Station, Classis, Ovens, at 12pm, the convoy of cars more than 20 years old will travel to Gougane Barra, where Mass will be celebrated in St Finbarr’s Oratory for deceased members of vintage clubs.

3. Lights, Camera, Action

It must be one of the only film festivals in the world to be hosted by a town without a cinema, but that hasn’t hindered its success.

The Fastnet Film Festival in Schull, Co Cork runs from Wednesday to Sunday and will showcase more than 300 short films, features and documentaries in a number of venues throughout the town.

4. Step It Up

Multiple Sclerosis Ireland is asking people to walk, run, dance or move 9,000 steps this Wednesday to raise funds for vital services. Wednesday is World MS Day and you can text STEPS to 50300 to donate €4 or find out more on www.ms-society.ie

The MS Research team at the University of Limerick will hold a 9,000 Steps for MS walk at 10.30am, while an MS treadmill challenge at Basecamp Outdoor Store, Middle Abbey St, will also take place from 8am until 8pm.

5. Slow Cooking

Michelin star chefs, food writers and food producers are coming together for the Burren Slow Food Week Festival 2016 taking place from Friday. It is celebrating its 10th anniversary.
