Whit Stillman Q and A coming to the IFI May 22nd

Critically acclaimed director Whit Stillman is coming to Ireland to present his latest film and to take part in a live Q&A at the IFI in Dublin.

Love & Friendship is based on a lesser known novel by Jane Austen called Lady Susan and tells the story of a widow who is looking to find herself and her daughter husbands.

The leading role is taken by Kate Beckinsale in what looks to be a career best performance and the rest of the cast includes Chloe Sevigny, Stephen Fry and Xavier Samuel.

Stillman will chat to the crowd after a special screening of the new film at the IFI on the 22nd of May at 6pm. And he's sure to have plenty to say as it was mostly shot in Ireland, including locations at Newbridge House in Co. Dublin.
