The film comes from Moon and Source Code director Duncan Jones (he's David Bowie's son - fact fans!) and he's been on the project for years to create an entire fantasy world befitting the lore of the franchise.

To help him create that universe on the very large screen he's teamed up with the world leading effects people at Industrial Light and Magic. They've been in the business since the 70s when the company was created by George Lucas to help build the effects for the first Star Wars film, so they definitely know a thing or two.

Here's a look at the groundbreaking work ILM did for Warcraft, just check out that facial performance capture.

It's tough to make hulking Orc characters seem real but it looks like a huge amount of work has been put into these digital creations, including having actors like Toby Kebbell and Clancy Brown behind the performance capture.

We'll see how it comes together when the film arrives in cinemas on the 30th of May, 2016.
