The Queen won a Tesco voucher at a horse show - and looked absolutely delighted
Everyone loves a helping hand toward their weekly grocery shop, even the Queen of England, it seems.
Queen Liz looked overjoyed as she bagged herself a £50 Tesco voucher at the Royal Windsor Horse Show this afternoon after her horse, Barber’s Shop, won the RoR Tattersalls Thoroughbred Ridden Show Horse Championship at the event.
And although it was unclear if she was going to keep the voucher, we imagine she could find a use for it - the Guardian reports that in the year up to March 2015, the royal family spent £1.3m - about £25,000 a week - on food and drink.
