Hell or High Water trailer - from the director of Perfect Sense
His latest sees him stepping up to the big leagues with an A-list cast where he'll hopefully get the attention he's long deserved.
Here's the trailer for Hell or High Water featuring Chris Pine, Ben Foster and Jeff Bridges
That's a brilliantly made trailer and while there are certainly generic elements we have no doubt Mackenzie will bring out new depth and plenty of emotion from the setup.
The larger budget also lets him play with some action set pieces and a whole lot more bullets than we've seen in his career so far. Bridges is perfectly cast and Foster is ideally placed opposite Pine as the brother with a criminal past.
We're very excited about this, and think you should be too.
The film gets its world premiere at the Cannes film festival on the 16th of May, 2016 and will hopefully be out in these waters soon.
