Some dogs get left out in the cold when they go missing but thankfully for this fella, he was found fast.

The adult Springer Spaniel was found swimming in the River Lee at 10.30am this morning near North Mall, Cork.

Thankfully a passer-by phoned the Cork Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (CSPCA) and kindly waited with the dog until a warden from the charity could get to them.
