Former bride-to-be treats needy families after being unable to cancel wedding reception

Former bride-to-be Yiru Sun refused to let life get her down after being forced to cancel her wedding.

New York native Yiru had to call off her big day two months before the ceremony after an argument over the prenuptial agreement and was hit with more bad news when she was told that there was no way of getting the $8,000 (€7,011) deposit for her wedding reception back.

Having no idea initially what to do, Yiru woke three weeks later with a plan. She decided use her cancelled reception to host a lunch for 60 needy kids and their families.
