Dark Souls 3 fastest in series to ship 3m copies

Bandai Namco has revealed that it has shipped 3 million copies of Dark Souls 3 worldwide. This means that it’s the fastest to have hit that milestone.

Dark Souls 3 launched in Japan on March 24 and has shipped half a million copies to date. Since launching elsewhere on April 12, it has launched 1 million copies in Europe, and 1.5 million copies in the United States.

This tally brings the total Dark Souls franchise shipments to more than 13 million copies worldwide. These statistics were revealed in Bandai Namco’s Investor Relations release.
