Save the Children’s new video, a sequel to the viral Most Shocking Second A Day, centres around the young girl caught in the middle of war we last left in a tent blowing out a birthday cake.

Using just seconds of footage for each day we follow the girl, played by 13-year-old Lily Rose Aslandogdu, as she makes the terrifying journey from her home, leaving behind everything she knows – just like the millions displaced by the civil war in Syria are doing right now.
