Social media is wild with speculation that indie pop legends the Stones Roses are about to make a big announcement.

Rumours of a new album or single have been doing the rounds for weeks and with a string of tour dates for 2016 already announced it seems something is afoot in the Mancunian band's camp.

Lemons, the symbol of the Stone Roses with some appearing on the cover of their seminal 1989 debut album, have started to appear on billboards and advertising screens across the UK.
