Taking to the stage at TechCrunch Disrupt, CEO Dag Kittlaus demonstrated how this new AI app works. She seems capable and fielded questions like, "Will it be warmer than 70 degrees near the Golden Gate Bridge after 5 pm the day after tomorrow?" Viv is also capable of connecting to third-party apps and services like Uber to make life a little easier for you.

Viv, according to Kittlaus, is powered by “dynamic program generation.” This is software that can basically write itself, Kittlaus said, and it means that Viv is capable of learning quicker than other AI assistants.

Kittlaus said that the company plans a “rolling launch towards the end of the year.” Plans include "phone apps and other things that we're working on with partners.”
