Police Department ask drug users to stop calling suspect's phone asking for drugs

There are some drug users in Ohio who may have a few sleepless nights ahead of them for more than one reason.

Police Department ask drug users to stop calling suspect's phone asking for drugs

An alleged drug dealer was apparently caught on camera selling crystal meth in downtown Alliance, Ohio and when he was arrested his phone was taken as evidence.

Unfortunately for his clientele, while the phone was in the possession of the police, it was hot with calls from people looking for a fix.

So much so that the police officers eventually put out a Facebook post asking people NOT to call or text their suspect as "his ringtone is terrible".

The police also mentioned the suspect was "all out of drugs for tonight".

Finally the department also promised the callers that they "would be calling to you pretty soon".

Basically the Alliance Police Department sent out a ’Don’t call us - we’ll call you’ to criminals.

Great to be in demand…
