VIDEO: The Shallows trailer - Blake Lively has a shark problem

Blake Lively decided to go on holiday to a gorgeous beach to soak up some sun and do some surfing.

Big mistake.

Wow that's intense stuff, and the same could be said for Ms Lively's tan - skin doesn't go that colour naturally.

This single location/nasty threat set up is perfect for films on the lower end of the budget scale, and gives the actress something a little different to sink her teeth into.

There's plenty of energy in the trailer, and potential for some tense stuff in the water. Director Jaume Collet-Serra has had a few high profile releases like Unknown and Non-Stop. They aren't die hard classics but they're mostly watchable.

The Shallows will be out in August 2016.
