Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered won't be available as a standalone

Activision finally unleashed the trailer for the new Call of Duty, which is titled Infinite Warfare. But if you planned to skip the latest instalment and just pick up Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, you’re out of luck.

Activision’s support website features an FAQ that notes that Modern Warfare Remastered will not be available as a separate disc. “You must own Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare in order to get Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered,” the FAQ reads.

You’ll need to purchase the Legacy, Legacy Pro or Digital Deluxe Edition of Infinite Warfare to be able to download Modern Warfare Remastered.
