INSPIRATION

The current embroidery redux harkens back to more arabesque adornment – a far cry from the beachy beatnik one normally associates with the season.

Stitched silk patterns inspired by surrealist artist Eileen Agar defined Holly Fulton’s spring/summer 16 offering; while geometric placements found expression on ascetic shirt dresses at Peter Pilotto.

The result? Simply sophisticated ornamentation.
