VIDEO: Check out Shadow Warrior 2's insane action

Back in 2013 Polish developers Flying Wild Hog did a pretty unlikely thing by crafting a reboot of the Shadow Warrior franchise. And they went one further by making a game that was gorgeous, gory and a lot of fun to play.

We never really expected a sequel but Shadow Warrior 2 is coming, and Lo Wang is getting some serious action again. Check out 12 minutes of bullets and bloody mayhem in this gameplay video.

The mix of magic, melee and good old fashioned shooting remains for the sequel, and it's looking like even more fun this time around. Now Wang is even more mobile and the levels are more vertical for extra ways to play and the developers are promising more ways to dismember enemies.

It looks like the perfect sequel really, building on what the first game did and also moving further away from the older and dated original to create a new entity that's relatively unique in todays fisrt person shooting world.

Shadow Warrior 2 should arrive by the end of 2016.
