Simon Cowell takes a shine to Kilkenny choir teacher on Britain’s Got Talent

It’s all eyes on Kilkenny Presentation Secondary School choir this weekend as they audition for their place in this year’s Britain’s Got Talent.

But although the 60 member choir wowed the audience with their rendition of Adiemus, it was one woman that Simon took a liking to - their choral mistress, Veronica McCarron.

"I like your glasses by the way," Simon said to the Fermanagh native before the choir began to sing.

"You look cute".

*cue a chorus of giggling school girls*

Though that didn’t take away from their performance which was phenomenal.

Well done girls!

According to the school’s website, the Presentation Secondary School Choir Programme has been in existence since 1996 and since that time, the choirs have enjoyed tremendous success and at present involve over 300 students.

And as we all know Simon loves a good choir, so will he grant them the golden buzzer pass?

We’ll just have to wait till the weekend to see.
