Nicolas Hamilton is a 24 year old Briton and racing car driver who competes in the British Touring Car Championship. He also suffers from cerebral palsy, and races with a specially-adapted car.

This young man grew up obsessed with racing but unable to take part and turned his attention instead to the best car simulations out there. That work led him to becoming a real-life racer and also a consultant at Slightly Mad Studios while they were creating the real-world feel of the latest Project Cars game.

The story of his career so far and work on the game is to be told in a short film called How Sim Racing Saved My Life and the touching trailer is below.
