Mirror's Edge Catalyst specs revealed

There's a sequel/reboot/prequel to 2008's Mirror's Edge due out very soon, and we can't wait to dive in.

The game from EA Game and DICE studios is due out on next gen consoles the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and the series will also be making its return to the PC. Here's a look at the minimum and recommended specs to keep it looking fabulous and running smoothly.

MINIMUM:

– OS: Windows® 7 64-Bit (use the latest Service Pack)

– CPU: Intel i3-3250 / AMD FX-6350. (Note: Mirror’s Edge Catalyst requires at least 4 logical cores to run.)

– RAM: 6 GB

– HARD DRIVE: At least 25 GB of free space

– VIDEO: NVIDIA GeForce® GTX 650 Ti 2GB or better / AMD Radeon™ R9 270x or better

RECOMMENDED:

– OS: Windows® 10 64-Bit (use the latest Service Pack)

– CPU: Intel Core i7-3770 at 3.4 GHz / AMD FX-8350 at 4.0 GHz

– RAM: 16 GB

– HARD DRIVE: At least 25 GB of free space

– VIDEO: NVIDIA GeForce® GTX 970 4GB or better / AMD Radeon™ R9 280x 3GB or better

The minimu spec isn't too ridiculous but you'll definitely want to be there if you want to make the most of the parkour skills Faith has at her disposal. The closed beta for Catalyst starts this weekend and selected folks are going to get the chance to try out some of the single player action and also the new competitive element.

Mirror's Edge Catalyst is due for release on the 26th of May, 2016.
