Behind the scenes video from Irish charmer Sing Street
It had its European premiere at the Audi Dublin International Film Festival in February and went on general release in Ireland in March. It's the story of a teenage boy (Ferdia Walsh Peelo) who sets up a band to impress a girl in 80s Dublin. With great music and performances, it's easily one of the most entertaining films of the year.
The film shot in and around Dublin in 2014 and you can get a look behind the scene with this delightful footage that has just been released. You can see what it was like to film part of their amateur music videos on a freezing pier in Dun Laoighre and also the banter while capturing a major music number towards the climax of the film.
