Full Game of Thrones Season 6 trailer is epic

Game of Thrones is back for its sixth season on the 24th of April 2016, and things are about to get even more epic, if that's possible.

There are a whole load of plot threads to tidy up from last season, though if previous experience is anything to go by they're just going to get messier and bloodier and end up with lots of people dead. The final trailer for the new season has just dropped and its a delicious blend of dread and death, with a cast of characters that's become so broad that it's a bit of a shouty soap opera at times. Check it out.

What the heck is happening with Arya? Is Sansa finally going to step up? What is Tyrion up to now and seriously all this Jon Snow stuff is getting ridiculous. And then there are dragons, and we can't wait to see what happens with them. This new material has mostly outpaced George R.R. Martin's books at this stage so literally anyone is fair game for a sudden death, though hopefully the creative sorts are paying attention to the characters we really want to see continue.

Game of Thrones season 6 debuts on the 24th of April on HBO in the States and will be on Sky Atlantic in Ireland on the 25th.
