Smart umbrella warns you when it's going to rain

If you miss the weather forecast, you may not need to fret as a smart umbrella will let you know that you’ll be needing it.

There’s currently a Kickstarter running for the Oombrella. This connected umbrella features a mini weather station with temperature, pressure, humidity and light sensors, which then connect to a smartphone app via Bluetooth.

The app gives you a 15-minute warning that it’s going to rain, so you can grab the Oombrella before heading out, while there’s also a “forget me not” feature so that you don’t leave it behind you when out and about.
