Here's our first glimpse at Guillermo del Toro's Trollhunters
It doesn't look quite as dark as some of del Toro's work; the show is based on his own young adult novel of the same name. In it, a group of residents in the fictional town of Arcadia discover a world that exists beneath theirs. As the name implies, you can expect to see an ongoing battle between Arcadia's population and the menacing trolls who live in the world below.
Originally, Trollhunters was supposed to be a Disney feature film, but the deal fell through. Now, del Toro has linked up with DreamWorks who are handling the animation and Netflix who will provide Trollhunters with a home. The latter is reassuring in its own right.
