Bizarre Los Angeles car chase ends with suspects taking selfies and high-fiving
Police in America have arrested two burglary suspects who led them on a long, bizarre car chase in a top-down convertible through rainy Southern California that ended with the men stopping to exchange high-fives with onlookers and take selfies before being handcuffed.
The blue Mustang's hour-long escapade also featured a series of doughnut manoeuvres on Hollywood Boulevard; the street well known for the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The driver and passengers were seen waving to nearby motorists and occasionally stood up as the car cruised through jammed traffic.

Never seen a police chase end like this, where driver just stops and waits for police to catch-up. They still haven't arrived #pursuit

The chase ended with the driver and passenger sitting on the car’s bonnet, taking selfies, exchanging hugs and chatting with more than a dozen onlookers for several minutes before surrendering to arriving police.
