PlayStation builds custom controller for gamer with cerebral palsy
PlayStation’s Alex Nawabi, who works on the research and development team, took responsibility for coming up with a solution. He put in around 10 hours of work, creating a controller that disabled the touch pad, but added a pause button at the bottom.
Byrne received a letter from Nawabi shortly after his initial contact. "Inside was the letter and this controller that is now modified especially for me,” he said.
“He said that it's the first time he's ever done something like this. He did more than I ever expected."
