Kids test banana peels for slipperiness -by slipping on them

So safe in fact that we have been lulled into a false sense of security and some kids have become sceptical of the dangers of the slippery banana skin.

These suspicious youths have decided to test out the phenomenon of slipping on a banana peel by -slipping on a banana peel.

Yeah, there are no Nobel prizes being handed out for this experiment.

It all started out innocently enough with a curious young American kid, but like a lot of other silly internet crazes, it caught on and now there is a hashtag: #bananapeelchallenge

Even late night host Jimmy Kimmel got in on the trend playing a prank on his show.

Of course, not everyone has completely lost their sense of self preservation and some people are not impressed by the whole thing.
