'Leaked' Nintendo NX controller is a fake

There has been an image doing the rounds online supposedly featuring the controller for Nintendo's in-development NX console. But it's a bit fat phony.

The person responsible for the leak, Redditor Idriss2Dev, posted that the whole thing was a hoax and even released a video to show how the image was made. They had their fun, rounding out the video with posts from NeoGAF.

Even if the leaked pictures aren't real, the original patent filing looks like the real controller mightn't look too different. We may find out for sure at E3 in June. Nintendo is expected to unveil the console and its actual controller there.
