Twitter will be sticking with its 140-character limit on tweets despite rumours that it would be upping it to as much as 10,000 characters.

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey appeared on The Today Show to celebrate the company's 10th anniversary. While there, he shared news about the company's policies and stances.

On the 140-character limit, Dorsey said, "It's staying. It's a good constraint for us. It allows for of-the-moment brevity."
