Watch these Irish pensioners get London commuters in the mood for St Patrick’s Day

A group of elderly Irish ex-pats decided to brighten up the day for London commuters last week as part of festivities to mark St Patrick’s Day.

The Irish London Pensioners Choir performed traditional dances and songs in the concourses of London Underground stations on March 12 and 13, all in the build up to today’s St Patrick’s festivities.

The choir were joined by buskers as the performed across the Tottenham Court Road, Charing Cross, Green Park and Southwark stations.

This video, released by Discover Ireland, features the musical mastery of the London Irish Pensioners Choir, the London Irish Music School and Deirdre Russell’s traditional music group.
