Beer of the week: Bo Bristle
Bradleys, Galvins, Castle Tralee, O’Briens, McHughs, Tesco
The Bo Bristle brewery was opened in Banagher, Co. Offaly in 2010 by two brothers-in-law and as well as their core range (IPA, Amber, Pils and Red Ale), watch out in the coming months for a new range of strong beers including a double IPA, an Imperial Red and a Milk Stout.
Bo Bristle IPA is a bit of an Irish classic by now, golden in colour with aromas of tropical fruit and earthy malts, fruity and balanced on the palate with a bitter kick on the finish. Watch out for the guys at the RDS Beer & Whiskey festival this weekend.
