Netflix announces release date for Luke Cage series

Another Marvel character is coming to Netflix in the near future. The streaming service announced that Luke Cage, the spin-off series based on the character in Jessica Jones, will be released on September 30th.

The series will follow the story of Luke Cage, a man with unbreakable skin trying to rebuild his life in New York. It’s said that the first series will see him squaring off against enemies like Cottonmouth and Black Mariah. Jessica Jones herself may make an appearance too.

All 13 episodes of the series will be released on September 30th.
