Tinder now lets you play Cupid

If you’ve been swiping through Tinder recently and spotted a profile that might be a perfect match for a friend, you can now act as a matchmaker and share that profile.

Tinder is currently testing the feature that lets you share a profile with someone in your contacts. If they then click on the link and swipe right, their profile has a greater chance of appearing in that person’s potential matches.

The feature is currently being trialled in a number of countries. Tinder’s vice president, Rosette Pambakian, said that the ability to share a profile was “one of the most popular requests from our users.”
