Pentatonix are coming to Dublin and here is why you should go see them
There is no doubting that interest in a cappella was ignited by the hugely successful 'Pitch Perfect' movies.
They introduced many of us to a new way of listening to music and gave the genre a fresh lift that captured audiences.
This reporter is not ashamed to say he enjoyed the movies and has since fallen in love with the style of music.
Pentatonix take a cappella to the next level however and it is really easy to see why they are the best in the business.
Having now eclipsed 10 million subscribers and more than 1 billion views, the PTXofficial YouTube page is currently the 13th-most subscribed-to music channel.
The best thing about Pentatonix - they're going on a European tour and starting it right here in Ireland!
Pre-sale tickets go on sale Wednesday March 3.

So, in the interest of broadening your musical minds, we are going to give you a list of some of our favourite versions of songs from PTX.
Let's kick this off witha whole range of music stretching right back to the 11th century and coming right up to modern day!
Pentatonix Evolution of Music is just outstanding.
Next we have chosen the groups take on the 'King of Pop'.
With a career spanning over 30 years Michael Jackson was the next logical stop for PTX who nailed hits from ABC, Billie Jean, Thriller and many more.
Back in 2015 at the American Music Awards, PTX took us to new heights when they gave an amazing performance of the Star Wars soundtrack.
Joined by a full symphony orchestra and admired by the great Han Solo - Harrison Ford - this performance will put a tear in the eye of anyone.
Who loves Disney music? Everyone loves Disney music- FACT!
PTX opened this years Disneyland 60 event with the beloved Beauty and the Beast classic 'Be Our Guest' with their own little creative twist.
One of the biggest markets is the Christmas music one and it's been said you're not a proper band until you can nail a Christmas hit.
We don't know what that makes Pentatonix because they have nailed every single one!
We have chosen Carol of the Bells as our favourite and after you watch this you will see why.
We have time to crow bar in one more Disney tribute which we covered not too long ago.
Whilst not strictly PTX it does feature Kirstin Maldonado from the group and we think it's just amazing.
