A piece of graffiti art purporting to be the work of Banksy has appeared on a wall on Moore Street in Dublin.

Bearing the tag of the infamous graffiti artist, it depicts an updated version of the famous photo of Padraig Pearse surrendering to the British General Lowe in 1916.

In this version, the soldiers are wearing hi-vis jackets, a reference to the ongoing dispute over building works at the historic site.
