Mother challenges shop assistant for saying her daughter needed Spanx to wear a certain dress

One women’s account of her teenage daughter’s experience trying on a dress has gone viral after she posted it to Facebook.

Megan Harris from Kansas and her daughter Lexi were in Dillards department store looking for dresses for Lexi’s upcoming dance when Megan asked her to try on one that that was not her usual style.

And then the shop assistant chimed in with some advice.
