From 1pm to 5pm Christmas trees will be available to purchase on site, while a full range of Christmas cards, ‘Working Dogs’ calendars and gift ideas like tote bags, candles, mugs and stationery are available now through the Irish Guide Dogs’ online shop and at select craft fairs around the country.

The East Cork Christmas Market takes place at Garryvoe Hotel tomorrow from 11.30am-4.30pm.
Local artisans, craft and food producers will be there to provide delicious Christmas treats such as homemade stuffing, pates, puddings, chutney, as well as the opportunity to order your Christmas poultry.
There will also be a selection of home-baked traditional Christmas fare while local growers will offer “just out of the ground” fresh produce. Handmade crafts for the Christmas stocking, face painting and fun for the children will add to the festive spirit.
Admission is a voluntary donation with all proceeds going towards Cancer Care Support.

It’s the greatest Christmas classic of them all, where hard-hearted Scrooge discovers the true spirit of Christmas during one ghostly night. All of Dickens’ unforgettable characters - The Spirit of Christmas Past, Christmas Present, and Christmas Yet-To-Come, Bob Cratchit, and Tiny Tim will all be on state at the Cork Arts Theatre from Tuesday to Saturday.
Tickets cost €12 per adults and €5 children under 12, with a variety of 11am shows on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with evening shows at 8pm, a matinee show on Saturday at 2.30pm and an evening show at 6pm on Friday.
Evening shows will have complimentary mulled wine and mince pies and a Christmas sing-along afterwards. The Saturday 8pm show will be in aid of Cork Penny Dinners.
