First music that really moved you: ‘Blowing in the Wind’, Bob Dylan.

Best gig you’ve ever seen: Paul Simon & Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Graceland tour, 1987 at the RDS in Dublin.

TV viewing: Lots of sport. Also The Bridge, Breaking Bad and Love/Hate.

Three music heroes: Randy Newman, The Beatles, Ella Fitzgerald.

Best celebrity encounter: Played at a private party for the Fred Astaire family in London in the early 1990s.

Most expensive piece of clothing: Offshore sailing suit, €800.
